Linda Kerse, General Manager
Having trained at Impney Hotels in Worcestershire for five years, Linda spent two years as Conference and Events Co-ordinator at The Royal Hotel in Scarborough before moving on to the award-winning Ragdale Hall Health Hydro, near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire for six years as Front of House Manager.
In 2003 she returned to her native North East and took up the position as Front of House Manager at Seaham Hall. In August 2005 Linda was promoted to Deputy Hotel Manager before being promoted to Operations Manager for Seaham Hall and Serenity Spa in May 2007.
In September 2007 Linda was made acting Hotel and Spa Manager.
Caroline May, Reservations Manager
Caroline left college with a GNVQ in Advanced Hospitality and Catering, she started her career as a Receptionist at a holiday centre in Filey. She then moved back to the North East and progressed from Receptionist to Reception Manager at the Hall Garth Golf and Country Club Hotel on the outskirts of Darlington, and then the George Washington Golf and Country Club Hotel in Washington, before moving on to Crathorne Hall Hotel.
Caroline joined Seaham Hall Hotel in November 2002 as Reservations Manager for the hotel and in January 2007 she was appointed Reservations Manager for both Seaham Hall and The Serenity Spa.
Martin Moore, The Ozone Restaurant Head Chef
Martin trained as a Chef in Belfast and the Channel Islands. He then moved to the North East of England, as an Event Chef at Judges Country House Hotel.
Having settled in the North East with his family, he joined Seaham Hall Hotel in September 2003 as Head Chef in the Events Department, where his knowledge of fine dining and service, is used continually to raise the profile and standards of Seaham Hall for weddings, functions and private dining events.
In January 2006, Martin was also appointed Head Chef at The Serenity Spa to further progress the development of the Ozone restaurant.
